User-friendly touchscreens allow tenants to have their say at Weslo Housing
The registered social landlord owns approximately 2,250 properties in West Lothian and Bo’ness as well as providing estate management services to 3,500 private homes acquired through the ‘Right to Buy’ scheme.
In 2011 Weslo Housing Management was looking for an effective way to gauge tenant satisfaction levels at their offices in Bathgate and Bo’ness. datacpr developed a user-friendly touchscreen application which would allow tenants to complete an interactive customer satisfaction questionnaire at a kiosk at both offices.
Both staff and tenants have found the touchscreen kiosks easy and intuitive to use despite a wide and varied demographic. The IT team at Weslo can easily download and access the data to analyse statistics and assess overall tenant satisfaction, which has raised the profile of the two offices to the Board of Directors. The company has also found that the kiosks are an effective way of promoting the Weslo website www.weslo-housing.org and its services.
Moving forward Kevin Cairns, the IT Manager is keen to build upon the success of the initiative using the time-tested format.
